I am a musician who loves to create inspiring moments through engaging performances and activities. I harness the power of music to build friendship and community.
I completed a Bachelor of Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where I majored in Composition and Music technology. During this time I studied music theory in the classical faculty. Throughout my life I have been a singer songwriter, an experience I’ve found cathartic and inspiring. Sharing my knowledge through teaching and collaboration is a passion of mine.
During my musical career I have been involved in a broad range of genres. I was a singer and guitarist in jazz and rock bands. Currently i write and play original material in a band performing jazz, rock and soul music.
I work in youth centres directing music and songwriting workshops. I lead young people in improvising musical ideas, lyric writing, recording and sound engineering. My workshops are sought after for there fun and inspiring atmosphere. I love to encourage students to express themselves and discover their creative voice.
I am adept at the application of sound engineering technology to record performances and produce professional quality sound. I love to craft a recording; combining and sculpting sound to give the track captivating texture and drama.
